Zac has over 20 years of experience in public practice. He has extensive experience in all areas of public practice, with expertise in taxation advice and planning, business structuring and advice, self-managed superannuation fund compliance & audit, audit of trust accounts for Solicitors, audit of trust accounts for real estate agents, audit of trust accounts for accountants (CPA/CAANZ members), accounting software implementation and advice.

He predominantly deals with small to medium businesses (SMES) in a wide variety of industries such as primary production businesses, retailers, wholesalers, pubs and hotels, restaurants & fast-food outlets, tradesmen, franchising, non-profit entities and much more. He has also worked with a number of Indigenous non-profit organisations over the years in various roles and is committed to assisting the organisations and the people of the First Nations.

Community Involvement, family life and hobbies:

Zac has been working with a number of sporting clubs and was the treasurer of the St Kilda Cricket Club Inc for a two year period until March 2016. In his spare time, he spends quality time with his family & friends. He loves cricket and barracks for the beloved Essendon Football Club.

He also fulfilled the role of the treasurer at his eldest daughter’s kindergarten for a 12-month period.

Zac has built a strong relationship with the indigenous organisations in Australia and had a very good understanding of dealing with the indigenous people and understands their needs.

In the early years of career, he trained staff at an Emerald based community centre in the Dandenong Ranges area by running the tax help program and training young graduates in the preparation of income tax returns for retirees, pensioners and veterans.
